I wanted to talk to you about something that's been on my mind lately: resistance. You know that saying "shake it off"? Well, it turns out we never really shook off our resistance. Not entirely... Let me explain.
Resistance is like old, negative emotions that get trapped in our bodies. Instead of letting them go, they stick around and grow. And if we don't release them, they can manifest as crankiness, irritability and, if not released, can even become a physical illness.
Now, here's the thing: children have hardly any resistance. That's why they're so much fun! They prioritize play and truly enjoy life. But as we grow up, we accumulate more and more resistance, and it starts to weigh us down. It can even transform into fear and prejudice, making us exclusive and mean.
But here's the good news: releasing resistance can easily become a regular part of our lives. You see, resistance doesn't want to stay in our bodies. It's always trying to escape. That's why crying can be so cathartic—it's a way of releasing built-up resistance. And remember that intense and awesome workout you had? Well, that was pent-up energy (aka resistance) leaving your body. And meditation can be like a rejuvenating exfoliation for the soul, helping us let go of resistance.
Releasing resistance is not only good for our minds but also for our bodies. It frees us from the heaviness we've been carrying and allows us to embrace a lighter, more joyful existence. So, my friend, let's make releasing resistance a priority and watch our lives transform into something truly remarkable.
